Initiative
Women’s Love Initiative-WOLI started in 2018 as a community-based organization with registration number NAK/18/051 and later registered with the Uganda Registration Service Bureau as Non- Government Organization in 2019 with registration number 80020002161042 in response to young people, and women’s needs.
Our Mission
To transform society’s response in regard to sexual assault, domestic violence as well as child abuse.
Our Vission
We envision a violent free world where both women and children’s rights are highly respected and valued by everyone. We seek a better world where there are zero cases of gender- based violence, where people can access sexual and reproductive health (including HIV and AIDS) services as well as exercise their health rights, and vulnerability to children in all angles is greatly reduced.
Our Objectives
- To ignite young people’s leadership especially the young women and increase their urgency to take up leadership positions in the society by amplifying their voices and deepening their activism of the human rights.
- To enhance access to sexual reproductive health and rights for women and girls (not limited to) through awareness creation and advocacy
- To contribute to a reduction in HIV prevalence and incidence rates
- Uganda through Strengthening advocacy for individuals, groups and networks in pursuit of better health in regard to SRHR, HIV and AIDS.
